  1. tn3270 Source Distribution

  4. The latest version of tn3270 is version 2.4a4.  However, the latest
  5. source distribution currently available is for version 2.4d7.  It is
  6. available in the file src24d7.seahqx.  The directions below for version
  7. 2.3d26 apply to that file as well.  Contact the author, Peter DiCamillo,
  8. if you require the most recent source code before it has been packaged
  9. for distribution.

  15. NOTICE:
  16. The  copyright for tn3270 source imposes additional restriction on its use
  17. which do not apply to the tn3270 application.  Each source file includes the
  18. copyright notice.  If you obtain a copy of the source, please read the
  19. copyright notice carefully to determine how it applies to your intended use of
  20. the source code.

  22. The source for tn3270 version 2.3d26 is contained in the file "src23d26.seahqx".
  23. This file contains a self-extracting Compact Pro archive stored in BinHex
  24. format.  To obtain the source, first download "src23d26.seahqx" from the FTP
  25. disk.  Next, use BinHex to restore "src23d26.sea" from "src23d26.seahqx".
  26. Finally, double-click on "src23d26.sea" to run the self-extraction program.  The
  27. program will create a folder containing the tn3270 source files, which will
  28. require 1.3 MB of disk space.

  30. It is not necessary to use the self-extracting feature of the archive file.
  31. It may also be opened and manipulated by any program which works with Compact
  32. Pro archives.
